Depending on your industry there are either 3 or 7 packs of listings in the Google results for a search such as “Elkton Lawyer”. Let’s say there are 30 lawyers in Elkton that have websites and are actively looking to bring in new clients. There are only 12 possible spots to show up on the first page, the 7 pack and then 4 organic listings below. In this example that means 18 lawyers are nonexistent to a large majority of individuals looking for them.
The thing is, you’re not just competing against lawyers in Elkton. You’re also competing with any lawyer that may be providing services in North East, Perryville, Bel Air, etc. How many lawyers are servicing this area, and looking for clients in the Elkton area? 100? 200? The exact number is irrelevant as the important factor is that it is A LOT.
